Additions in this release include modular ship technology, planetary technology storage, and additional ship technologies such as active screens and deep scanners.
Anti-cheat mechanisms were added, such as IP logging to prevent repeating of certain actions by players. Basic bargaining logic was added to ports. Many combat bugs were fixed.
2 new planetary stucture types, improved minefield behavior and attack/defense reports, spreading of planetary defensive fire across attackers, and validity checks on posted values.
The help files have been updated. Combat (ships vs. ships, ships vs. forces, ships vs. planets), trading, and the event processor are now functional. A pathing functionality using the A* algorithm for merchant navigation and trade route plotting have been added.
