Project Description

Minitube is a YouTube application for Mac, Linux, and Windows. With it, you can watch YouTube videos in a new way: you type a keyword, and Minitube gives you an endless video stream. Minitube does not require the Flash Player. It is not about cloning the original YouTube Web interface, but strives to create a new TV-like experience.

The main new feature is the Search autocompletion. Other minor enhancements include the ability to skip to the next video when a video cannot be loaded and the ability to drop playlist items onto the video area. A problem in which messages in the playlist were not updating was fixed. View crossfade was disabled on Linux. Keywords are saved only when there are results. The fullscreen keyboard shortcut was fixed. A Polish translation was added.
