Project Description

MKGI Chess Club is a chess playing server with a pure Web interface. It features complete player profile management, full html email notification with embedded board display. It also features an interface to match against chess engines such as gnuchess, phalanx, and crafty.

The draw offer system has been upgraded. A player can now offer a draw opportunity while playing his move, and not instead of a move as it was before. When this is done, the opponent can accept the draw or simply keep on playing. This feature is fully undo-compatible: a move assorted with a draw offer can be undone in the standard delay time. The chessboard view has been upgraded a bit. This is the beginning of a visual upgrade of the site that will take place in the next updates.
