Mp3Cdbrowser is a tool to organize large collections of music (MP3, Ogg/Vorbis) on a CD or hard disk. It stores information about the track names, album, length, etc. in a database. You can later browse the tracks or search for them.
Information regarding Project Releases and Project Resources. Note that the information here is a quote from Freecode.com page, and the downloads themselves may not be hosted on OSDN.
Ogg/Vorbis support is available (again). An error report is now
displayed after CD insertion. The Info Panel looks nicer now. The
Look and Feel of the UI may be changed now.
This release adds a pure Java DB (HSQLDB) as an alternative to MySQL,
the ability to play/enqueue files in an external player, speed
enhancements, and many minor enhancements.
This version adds a new GUI, adds a tree view for CDs, Artists, and Albums, adds the ability to edit most track fields, adds the ability to delete CD, albums, or artists via the right mouse button, revises the database model, supports multiple artists for a single album (compilations), adds support for foreign language characters through UTF-8 Unicode, and disables Ogg Vorbis support.
Re-ordered the import classes, and added better Ogg/Vorbis support using 'average bitrate' instead of 'nominal bitrare'. It now also reads the playing time from the file rather than calculating it.
