Open HPI is an open source project created to provide an open implementation of the SA Forum's Hardware Platform Interface (HPI). It provides a universal interface for Platform Management, including hardware sensor monitoring and control.

This version places the OpenHPI daemon as the standard way to get HPI data. Highlights are: persistence of the Domain Alarm Table, hot swap management enhancements (more plugin ABIs), daemon enhancements (syslog), and Blade Center plugin improvements (bmc reset control and operational sensors).
