This release includes support for RedHat 7.1 and 7.2 and experimental support for Mandrake 8.2. The Itanium 1 platform is now supported as well. New features in this release include, adding & deleting of nodes, easy user selection of MPI implementation, and improved test facility and an API for drop in package support. The Ganglia (version 2.2.3) monitoring system has been added and most of the packages have been updated.
