Project Description

otl is a text processor for generating markup from readable lightweight markup. Much of both the input and output formats can be customized. HTML output is bundled as an example. otl supports complex structures such as nested ordered and unordered lists, headers and footers, and tables.

This release deals with lists better, handles DOS-ish files better, and processes multiple files in one pass correctly. It also has new features: handling tabbing better, excluding sets of lines from processing (facilitating inclusion of complex material (e.g., MathML) in the source document), and, if the output is HTML, automatic conversion of http://xxxx to an HTML link. The tag-remove script also cleans up files significantly better, dealing with DOS-ish files, etc. with a little more grace.
