pcmciautils can now be invoked by udev instead of
hotplug. Also, this releases fixes compilation on
Debian as well as the location of the firmware
directory.
This release adds the ability to exclude resources in config.opts and
has one important bugfix if you run it as an udev helper instead of a
hotplug agent.
Allows pcmcia-startup-socket to run directly as a udev helper, and excludes a few ports in default i386 config.opts that caused MCEs on RadeonIGP systems.
