The PCX Portal provides a desktop environment, company, user and app management, context sensitive help, and multi-lingual support. It is written in Perl, and designed to provide the foundation for Web-based applications that need all of the above.

XML is beginning to be used for lots of things (Config files, User Preferences, ColorSchemes(Themes), etc.), and all major APIs are now fleshed out. Dynamic Content on the Desktop is now implemented. All color settings, links, etc. are now controlled via CSS. Applications can be locked (during database upgrades, etc.).
This release has been updated to depend on PCXPortal 0.1.05. There are some minor display enhancements centered around the new Browser Capabilities detection code.
This release has browser capabilities detection. pass through authentication (apps can be launched from outside the Portal and the user is forced to log in if required), and Help and Desktop display updates. A database setup script has been started to help automate the setup of the Portal databases.
