Versions in this branch will be released at
regular intervals, regardless of the current code
status. This release contains all work done during
the 2007 Summer of Code, including improvements to
the Simple Timeline, reactivation of the Advanced
Timeline, new frameworks for plugin support, and
project save/load support.
Several improvements in the first time user experience, along with slimming down of the user interface to only show options and tools that really work. New graphics were added, along with more translations and unit tests.
Improvements were made to UI usability and
rendering support. The program now supports i18n,
and was translated into 12 languages. Support for
decodebin2 was added. Several critical bugs were
fixed.
