5.1.3

This version should give better error messages if X11 include files cannot be found during compilation. It should also work better with certain types of OpenOffice installations and included a fairly important workaround for a Mozilla bug that allows the plugin to display certain object tags without Mozilla crashing.

Make install now installs the program correctly for most browsers, including plugger-controller. The gobble routine was rewritten to be faster, and an OpenOffice helper script that improves integratation was added. autoconf is now used, and m4 can be used to macro-process pluggerrc. Additional status information was added to Help->About->About Plugins. pluggerrc updated with all of the latest applications, and mplayer integration was fixed. Issues with zombie processes were solved.

More MIME types: Ogg, Openoffice, GIMP files, and many more. Play/pause/stop controls for most audio MIME types are added. Compilation is made much easier by including the npapi sources from Mozilla. All streaming handling is changed to be handled by external applications, since Mozilla and Opera can't stream data to a plugin unless the plugin is always ready to read infinite amounts of data. Mplayer is used to view most video types. This release should hopefully work better with Opera. There are many bugfixes.

More MIME types are now shown, including Word, Excel, and PDF documents.
pluggerrc was updated to include applications for more platforms. It is now
possible to use X applications without $window. New configuration keywords
include: swallow, fill, maxaspect, and nokill. Some plugger functionality was
moved into an external program for more reliable operation. A bug which made
plugger incompatible with Opera was fixed.
