Project Description

QMail Installation is a small and very practical
script that makes it easy to install qmail and
other related tools, such as vpopmail,
qmailadmin, spamassassin, F-prot, and qmailmrtg.

The qmail-smtpd.c_103_fqdnhelo-diff patch was removed and the netqmail-1.05-moreipme-0.6pre1 patch was added. The versions of the softwares sources were updated. patchutil was changed to patchutils in functions. The ezmlm RPM installation was removed. ezmlm is now only installed from the tar.gz when MySQL is installed. Minor changes were also made to qmailadmin installation.

This release candidate includes minor changes to the spamassassin entries, added RPM and DEB checks for preinstalled software, more checks in apt-debian.sh, a "stop all services" function, installation of Date::Parse, and minor changes in Mail Toaster and the netqmail installation.

The versions of software sources have been updated. values.suse90 and values.suse91 files have been added. netqmail 1.05 has been added, and qmail's patches have been updated (shupp.org). The standard qmail 1.03 release has been removed. This release has been tested with SuSE 9.1 Pro. An SMTP AUTH patch has been added for ofmipd in mess822-0.58.

updated. qqtools's installation was changed to
Mail Toaster's installation. MySQL's values were
added in debian and suse .values files. The suse90
value for $DISTRIB was added. Minor changes were
made in the installation of ezmlm, ucspi, and
maildrop.
