QMail Installation is a small and very practical
script that makes it easy to install qmail and
other related tools, such as vpopmail,
qmailadmin, spamassassin, F-prot, and qmailmrtg.

Major bugs were fixed. Minor changes were made in
the installation process for maildrop,
qmail-scanner, spamassassin. Major changes were

values.suse and values.debian were added for
installation on both types of systems. This script
works correctly on SuSE Linux and Debian testing.
apt-debian.sh was added for installing all needed
software on Debian. A minor bug was fixed.
The script was successfully tested on SuSE 8.2. The
source for ezmlm RPMs was changed. Bugs in the
dcc-dccproc, isoqlog, and qmail installations were
fixed. Minor changes were made to the vpopmail
installation. All MySQL users and passwords are now
created automatically. A locals file was added to /var/
qmail/control/. Minor changes were made to
courier_imap for SSL. All required CPAN modules are
installed, the ezmlm errno patch was added, and
mess822 software was included.
