Project Description

QTGZManager is a frontend to the Slackware
pkgtools. It can compare versions, install,
reinstall, upgrade, downgrade, and remove
packages. It also converts RPMs to TGZs, shows the
package contents and information, and freezes or
unfreezes a specific version.

1.0beta5

The interface was reworked to add a menubar, to minimize unused space, and to remember your preferences. This version is compatible with Slackware 13.0 TXZ packages. The package recognition algorithm was reworked to recognize the package status instantaneously. A package in your system can be found just by pressing Ctrl+K. Files belonging to package content you've just opened can be found. A default directory to be selected every time you launch the application can be set. QTGZ now starts hidden, enabling your window manager to automatically launch it without interfering with your desktop.
