Project Description

Qtractor is an Audio/MIDI multi-track sequencer
application. The initial target platform is Linux,
using the infrastructure of the Jack Audio
Connection Kit (JACK) for audio and the Advanced
Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) for MIDI. It is
meant to be a fairly-featured Linux desktop audio
workstation GUI, specially dedicated to the
personal home studio.

Linked, ref-counted audio/MIDI clips are now featured. This release adds a brand new Aux-Send pseudo-plugin and direct-access plugin parameter slider, an audition/pre-listening MIDI file player, improved automatic time-stretching of audio clips on tempo-map changes, fixes for native Linux VST support and JACK-session support, an improved generic plugin form, MIDI-fx plugins support, a new audio bus/ports auto-connect option, and many more fixes and feature improvements.
