Project Description

RackTables is a tool to manage tens of racks, hundreds of servers, and thousands of MAC and IP addresses. It will work with a single rack as well. It features a real-life rackspace model, typed rack objects with flexible attribute sets, a tagging system, IP address management ready for NAT, virtual routers and load balancers, accurate network connection handling, a universal search function, a multi-user access model, and an extensible dictionary.

This maintenance release features a bugfix in RackCode editor, which in rare cases could corrupt internal authorization cache. It also adds several improvements to 802.1Q, including the new "anymode" port role. VRP 5.50 implementation of LLDP is now supported. Error handling code has been reviewed, and cases such as invalid input are now handled in a more user-friendly manner.

It features better Slackware support, Nexus-related fixes (802.1Q support and CDP), a fix in the ports editor form, and support for the Huawei NDP protocol.
