RLIB is a reporting engine that makes it possible to easily create professional reports in PDF, HTML, text, and CSV from one simple XML report definition
file. It supports direct input from MySQL, PostgreSQL, ODBC, and programmable pluggable inputs. It is written in C and has PHP and Python language bindings built in.

Additional language bindings have been added (PHP, Python, and Java). You can have non-English characters/symbols in reports. There are additional data sources for reports (MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ODBC). It compiles niceley across many different Unix variants. The RLIB Language has been beefed up with many more helper functions and better ways of handling data types. It can be completely GPL now, because you can disable the CPDF library. There are many bugfixes and minor feature additions.
