rpmrebuild is a tool to build an RPM file from a package that has already been installed. It can be used to easily build modified packages, and works on any Linux distribution that uses RPM.

The command line parsing was improved to accept
all possible long options. All required
dependencies were added in the rpm package. The
--dir option was changed to --directory.
This release fixes a bug in /etc/popt, makes filters work again, fixes the comment_missing option, fixes GPG problems with RPM 4.2.x, and fixes other minor bugs.
