Many bugs have been fixed, and it is now extremely stable once more. The installers have been rewritten to work better in a Unix environment (and under Kaffe/GIJ). Many new features have been added, including better embedded diary support, membership expiry, declawed flag, and a new shortcut bar on the find animal screen.

Mainly, bugfixes were made and small feature
requests were fulfilled. This version is much more
stable due to improvements in the SwingWT library.

The program has been converted into various
platform-native versions for Mac OS X, Linux, and
Windows. This improves the responsiveness of the
user interface, reduces memory use down to 1/20th
of what it was, and improves uniformity with other
native applications.

Problems with database timeouts, manual TrueType
fonts from LaTeX, and broken lost/found contact
details for found animals were fixed. Medical timing
rules now prevent animal overdosage. The new
features include ID numbers for lost/found, a date
completed field in the embedded diary, a global make
script for developers, animals/owners direct from
movements, a UNIX server installer, and custom
report improvements.

Many new features and fixes, including categorised diary tasks, a logout/close prompt, a new look and feel, generic log records (bite tracking, weight charts, etc.), and a new medical treatment view. The Windows installer bug that broke temporary paths on some machines has now been fixed. In addition, the start of a new PHP Web interface is available for download.
