Animal Shelter Manager

This release adds support for
1-800-Save-A-Pet.com, better database indexing,
Indian English, and improved internationalization
in the database.

This release fixes quite a few more obscure bugs,
adds LDAP and OS authentication, MD5 hashing of
database passwords, support for sheltermanager.com
hosting, an alternative Windows interface, a new
"Not for Adoption" book, instance control, and
database heartbeat for hosted connections.

Currency formatting for the locale was fixed. The custom report editor works for all database platforms. The lock menu option works correctly again. The DOA/PTS Flags on In/Out report were fixed. The diet icon bug was fixed. The icons were renamed in line with the actual image sizes and formats. The asm.bat file was re-enabled for 98/ME machines that cannot work with the new bootloader. Image scaling now always retains aspect ratio. A Linux AMD64 build was added. The deb package now includes window manager menu items for Ubuntu/Debian. The "getdbfsfile" command was added to allow retrieving of any file from the DBFS.

This release adds better FIV/L support, a new
OwnerEmail wordkey,
OpenOffice 2 templates, and OO2 as the new default
word processor. It
fixes a long standing bug in the custom report
screen, removes Java
5-specific code to ensure ASM is 1.4 compliant,
adds new generic Unix
builds, and fixes SWTSwing table/focus problems
for OSX/BSD users.

This release adds support for GIF/PNG preview images, better Linux/Windows platform support, and builds for *BSD, Solaris and other Unix variants. The DOS window is now hidden by default on Win32 machines. New features include FTP root override support at the command line and DontArchiveOnExit option for fast shutdown. Many bugs have been fixed.
