Project Description

Smb4K is a SMB and CIFS (Windows) share browser
for KDE. It uses the Samba software suite to
access the SMB and CIFS shares of the local
network neighborhood. Its purpose is to provide a
program that's easy to use and has as many
features as possible.

Another bug in the bookmark menu widget was fixed.
Enabling of the "Authentication" action in the
browser widget was fixed. A crash (NULL pointer
access) in Smb4KShareWidget::slotMountedShares()
was fixed. Support for mount.cifs and umount.cifs
was added. This should enable users to mount CIFS
shares as a normal user, depending on the
configuration of the system and on the presence of
these two utilities (which should have the setuid
root bit set). Start-up was revised.
