Project Description

Sodipodi is a general purpose vector drawing application which uses a subset of
W3C SVG as its file format. It uses an advanced imaging engine with antialiased
display, alpha transparency, and vector fonts.

This is mostly a bugfix release, ironing out rough corners left from 0.25. It now works on locales using ',' as a decimal separator, and writes the DTD correctly. Feature enhancements include in-place text editing, plain SVG saving mode, a recently opened files list, and fill-rule modification.

The text object now conforms to the SVG specification. A global cleanup of
styles and units was done. Star, spiral, and arc tools were added. Autotrace and
vertical text layout are now supported.

This is an experimental release, so expect lot of new bugs. The most noteworthy new features are gradients, dynamic dialogs, emergency saves, much improved handles, better line drawing code, and near complete grid/guideline snapping.
