SOFA is a statistics, analysis, and reporting program with an emphasis on ease of use, learning as you go, and beautiful output. SOFA can connect directly to your database and lets you display results in an attractive format ready to share or put in a spread­sheet. SOFA will help you learn as you go, whether you are a student, business analyst, or researcher.

The legend is now closer to charts and the outer background color now covers the x-axis labels. Placement of y-axis titles was improved. SOFA warns the user if there are not enough suitable variables for an analysis (e.g. paired t-test) and suggests a likely cause and solution. The default sofa_db row in projects is read-only. A better message is given to the user if attempting to connect to an empty SQLite database.
