Simple Picture Gallery Manager

This version sets the final set of features before the script gets totally rewritten for a modular design gain. Since the last announcement, a slideshow mode, pop-up pictures, gallery-dedicated thumbnails, a template mode (easy integration into Web sites), and more have been introduced as new features. The script has several performance improvements, code cleanups, and bugfixes.

This release has important code cleanups resulting in performance improvements and better readability. It includes pop-up picture support and XHTML 1.0 Strict compliance.

This release includes 2 very important features (support for non-standalone mode and gallery-dedicated thumbnails) and a complete rewrite of the filter system.

This new release completes the core features set by including several new functionalities (including intuitive sort options for both galleries and pictures) and valuable code improvements for faster gallery rendering.

Two important features that had been lacking for a while have been added: gallery icons can finally be replaced by random thumbnails if desired, and the explicit sort of pictures against a simple text file is now supported. New language packs (currently 10), a quick start guide, and a few bugfixes are also included.
