Project Description

system-config-printer configures a CUPS server. It
uses the CUPS API (bound to Python with pycups) to
do this. The communication with the server is
performed using IPP. As a result, it is equally
able to configure a remote CUPS server as a local one.

PPD changes are disallowed when there are conflicts. Constraints checking and conflicts reporting have been fixed. The job authentication notification is no longer displayed, just the dialog. The keyboard and pointer are no longer grabbed for authentication dialogs. The 'wait' window is no longer displayed when adding a new printer. Other UI fixes have been made.
