Project Description

Tellico is a collection manager for KDE. It includes default collections for books, bibliographies, comic books, videos, music, video games, coins, stamps, trading cards, and wines, and also allows custom collections. Unlimited user-defined fields are allowed. Filters are available to limit the visible entries by definable criteria. Full customization for printing is possible through editing the default XSLT file. It can import CSV, Bibtex, Bibtexml, RIS, MODS, CDDB, and audio file metadata and exports CSV, HTML, Bibtex, Bibtexml, ONIX, and PilotDB. Entries may be imported directly from Amazon.com, imdb.com, any z39.50 bibliographic server, PubMed, or an external script.

A bug that could cause images to be lost when loading from the data file was fixed. The ISBN validator and Amazon.com search were updated to properly use ISBN-13 values. URL values are now properly saved with the file protocol, and file catalogs compare entries by URL directly. Sorting now takes the title articles into account, and the performance for copying or deleting multiple entries at once was improved.

Several bugs that caused crashes when searching or updating were fixed. The Yahoo! search API was updated. Performance for loading collections with large images was improved. The entry updates matching algorithm was improved, and the IMDb search now works better for TV shows.

The HTML export was fixed to properly copy all included files, and to use relative links. The Internet search can now retrieve additional results beyond the first batch, and some focus/UI issues with the CSV importer were fixed. The minimum KDE version was lowered to 3.3.1.

directory to be used for image caching was fixed.
In some cases, data loss could occur, so upgrading
is encouraged. Version 1.2 did not have the bug.
