Project Description

Totem is the official movie player for GNOME. It is based on either xine-lib or gstreamer, supporting any formats that these backends support. It features a playlist, a full-screen mode, seek and volume controls, as well as a pretty complete keyboard navigation system.

This release has been ported to the new xine API (1.0 alpha). A new Properties
window, working preferences, and support for more multimedia keys were added.
Plenty of cleaning up was done. Some minor UI changes were made. The program is
now more helpful to the user about DVD and VCD playback. A lot of translations
were updated or newly added.
