Project Description

TuxSaver is a 3D OpenGL screensaver for KDE. It shows Tux on an iceberg on the South Pole. It is possible to develop your own stories and 3D objects and add them to TuxSaver.

This release adds a port to automake-1.7, autoconf-2.5x, and
kdevelop-3.x, a major bugfix, translations to Dutch and French, support
for loadable islands, a tropical island, an iceberg with an igloo, a new
story with an "I LOVE KDE" sign, and a redesigned setup dialog box. It
fixes a sound bug with small ogg files.

Conversion of sound from WAV to Ogg, an updated howto, texture support for loadable objects (along with new stories and objects which use textures), a THX-like story using the KDE logo, a bugfix in textureloader which makes rendering 2 to 3 times as fast, a runtime objectloader which means it is a lot easier to add new objects using ac3d, bugfixes in the objectloader, and a lot of new stories using new objects and sounds.
