Support was added for Mac OS X guests on Mac hardware. Page Fusion de-duplicates identical memory pages of Windows guests, potentially increasing the VM capacity or density. Memory Ballooning allows dynamic recuperation of VM memory. Virtual hot plugging and unplugging of CPUs is supported for guest OSs that allow for it. Support for the virtualization features of recent Intel CPUs was added. Further new features include in-hypervisor networking, a completely re-worked storage I/O subsystem, Remote Display Protocol (RDP) video acceleration, and deletion of snapshots while a VM is running.
