vsftpd is a secure and fast FTP server for UNIX-like systems that is used on many large and critical Internet sites. Its rich feature set includes SSL encryption, IPv6, bandwidth throttling, PAM integration, virtual users, virtual IPs and per-user / per-IP configuration.

Support for SSL encrypted logins, commands, and data has been added. More FTP events are now logged (such as deletes). Support for paths such as ~ has been added to work around broken FTP clients. MDTM may now be used to set timestamps. Many other small fixes have been applied. GPG signatures are now supplied for this and future releases.
