vsftpd

Support for per-IP connection limits in standalone mode has been added. This is important for (and requested by) large internet sites who cannot use xinetd for this functionality due to xinetd bugs under load.

A large number of build errors have been fixed on various platforms (OpenBSD, FreeBSD, Solaris, and Tru64). The INSTALL documentation has been reworked. The messages have been made more professional. A few other minor fixes and enhancements have been made.

Support for large (>2Gb) files on Linux/ia32, support for per-user configuration, support for simple standalone mode, support for client limit (in standalone mode), support for multi-line connect banners, support for localtime (not GMT), and support for passive address override have been added. Support for chroot jailing has been greatly improved. More documentation and examples have been added. Fixes for AIX and HPUX builds have been applied. A "bug" has been fixed which could cause the Linux kernel to log network stack related messages.

Build fixes on FreeBSD, Debian, IRIX, and probably other systems too.

Build fixes for Red Hat 7.2 and Mandrake systems.
