Compiling now requires SDL 1.2.7 or higher. New campaign: The Eastern Invasion (Loyalists, 15 scenarios). 15 new units, unit balancing, user interface improvements, graphics improvements, AI improvements, editor improvements, scenario balancing, French and Dutch translation updates, bugfixes, code cleanups, and optimizations.
The experience gauge was changed. Search now works with coordinates, weapon type tooltips were added, many multiplayer improvements were made, and pre-named villages, other terrain features, and empty castles were included on random maps. AI improvements were made, including better grouping, unit, and scenario balancing, the graphics were improved, halo effects and new sounds were added, and editor improvements were made. The French, Polish, and Spanish translations were updated.
Two new scenarios for campaigns and two new multiplayer scenarios. Lizardman has been renamed to Saurian. New units: Elvish Rider, Saurian Warrior, and Necrophage. Improvements: user interface, random map generation, multiplayer, AI, editor, and graphics. Scenario and unit balancing.
This release adds bugfixes, map editor improvements. multiplayer
improvements (observers see the perspective of the active player,
observers can talk, game creators can chat while setting up a game, and
players can chat with other game members while waiting for a game to
start), graphics and user interface improvements, and scenario and unit
balancing.
Many bugfixes were made along with AI
improvements, a 9th player, and unlimited turn
support in multiplayer mode. Lizardmen have joined
the Northeners. The Catalan, French, and Italian
translations were update and there were
improvements to graphics, scenarios, unit balancing,
and the map editor.
