ZK is a highly productive Java framework for building amazing enterprise Web and mobile applications. With event-driven components and an XUL-based markup language, developing is as simple as programming desktops and authoring HTML. Scripting languages include but are not limited to Java, JavaScript, Ruby, and Groovy.

It is now possible to access a database in ZUML without using Java code. The grid, listbox, and tree now support dragging of columns and the window supports dragging borders. ZUML annotations allow UI designers to embed declarations for specific tools. Two more Google Maps components are now supported: ginfo and gmarker. A confirmClose message when the end user is trying to close the browser is now supported. 38 features were added and 28 bugs were fixed.
