Project Description

ZynAddSubFX is a powerful real-time, multi-
timbral software synthesizer for Linux. It has
microtonal capabilities, and the instruments it
creates sound like those from professional
keyboards. It includes effects like reverb,
echo, chorus, and phaser.

This release includes bugfixes and code cleanups. A Global Filter was added to SubSynth, key response limits to were added to Part, and presets were added to Effects. The fade is now smaller on high frequencies and larger on low frequencies, fixing problems with audible starting clicks in the bass and fade-ins on higher pitched sounds. Tunings were added to Reverb - it is now possible to choose Random of Freeverb.

This release includes small bugfixes, a Notch Filter, an option to randomize the resonance function, and a VU-Meter, changes the Insertion effect mode's behaviour (it sounds a bit louder), adds an external program that splits the keyboard and allows you to play two instruments at the same time, and adds a new function to OscilGen.
