Version 0.9.5 is incompatible with Ubuntu-Dapper,
apparently due to the shared memory code. The current
CVS version (0.9.7 + Chinese translation) works
perfectly. Please debianize it ASAP.
PS-It would be convenient for the package to be
optionally available in some apt repository.
More recent Ubuntu releases have included gsynaptics in the
Universe repository. Your efforts would only be useful now
for those still using version 6.06 (Dapper Drake), which was
released shortly before I submitted the bug.
Well it does not include current version and the "effort"
for me was executing of single script which uploaded my
Debian package to my PPA repository ;-).
