バージョン1.0.5 (2010-11-11 21:54 by ytooyama #54108)

Snow Leopard 10.6.5対応版の公開を素早くしていただきましてありがとうございます。
いつも助かっています。

ところで、アップデートしてみて気がついたのですが、
「LetterFixについて」のところのバージョンが1.0.4のままになっています。

利用には支障のないところなのですが、報告先がわからなかったので、こちらに書かせていただきました。
ご確認いただければ幸いです。

ご指摘ありがとうございます。
こちらでもリリース直後には気がついていたのですが，
機能に影響が無いためそのままにしてあります。
次回のリリース時には気をつけたいと思います。

大変恐れ入りますが、RakunaMacブログを運営しているジョと申します。主にアップル関連のニュースを繁体中国語に訳しています。( http://www.rakunamac.tw/ )

ご開発の「LetterFix for Mac OS X Mail.app」を愛用していますが、繁体中国語を操るユーザたちにもご紹介できるのかと思っています。
もしよろしければ、インターフェース（.lproj）を繁体中国語に訳させていただけませんでしょうか。

ご関心を御持ちいただきありがとうございます。

ただ，ソースコードを見ていただければわかる通り，まったく国際化されておらず，
メッセージやGUIのラベル要素もプログラムに埋め込んでしまっております。
.lprojファイルは使用していません。
ですから，まずはプログラムの国際化を行わないと，ご要望には添えないと思います。

しかし，現在のところ日本語のメール送信の際の問題のみをターゲットにしておりますが，
中国語でメールを出す際の文字コードの取り扱いやMaillの問題などの情報を頂ければ，
今後の拡張の参考となるかと思います。ぜひご協力を頂ければありがたいです。

早速お返事いただき誠にありがとうございます。
確かにご指導の通りに ".lproj" にはファイルがないため、変更できませんね。

繁体中国語の環境で、特にWindowsのほうは "BIG5" というコードのせいで、Macから返信または転送の際に、Windowsでメールを読むとよく文字化けになっています。
只今「LetterFix for Mac OS X Mail.app」を利用して、「編集前にメッセージを変換しますか？」と「メッセージを変換して送信しますか」という機能によってずいぶん助かると思います。
もし現時点にはBIG5またはインターフェースの対応がまだなかったら、画面キャプチャでボダンを中国語に訳してユーザに伝えると思いますが、こういう形なら問題はございませんでしょうか。

ご希望される機能は理解できましたが、
中国語を対象とするとなると、翻訳だけでは済まないかと思います。

現在のLetter-fixは、「ISO-2022-JPに変換できない文字」を置き換える機能を
ハードコーディングしており、そのままでは、「中国語以外の文字」を置き換えることは
できません。現状のまま台湾のユーザにご紹介いただいても、お役に立てないかと思います。

将来的には、国際化も検討したいところですが、すぐには無理です。
オープンソースですから、どなたかがプロジェクトをフォークしていただき
中国語専用のLetter-fixを作っていただければいいとも思うんですけどね。

お返事を誠にありがとうございます。

現在のままに、中国語に対応できるだけの機能を考えてみながら台湾にユーザに伝えさせていただきます。
ソースを拝見しながらBIG5というコードに対応させるかどうかもちょっと試します。

将来的には、国際化について何かのご協力ができればぜひお聞かせてください。
