ディスクが認識しない。 (2016-03-01 23:09 by ゆうこ #77736)

Windows7でisoイメージをダウンロードしてWindows7の標準機能でCD-Rに焼きました。
WindowsXPのPCにインストールしようとしたところCDブートが出来ず、XP起動後に
マイコンピュータでディスクを見ると新しいCD-Rとしてファイルを書き込むメニューしか出ない状態です。
バージョンはlinuxBean 14.04 (Trifolium) 14.04.4-160218 (日付: 2016-02-18) です。

まず、何故認識できないかが解らず苦戦しています。アドバイスなどよろしくお願いします。

標準機能で書き込んだとのことですが、具体的にどういう手順を踏まれましたか？

isoファイルを右クリックして”ディスクイメージの書き込み”を選択されたか、あるいは上部のバーから”書き込む”を選択されたかで原因が変わってきます。

後者であれば、”USBフラッシュドライブと同じように使用する”を選択されたことが原因と思われます。
UDF方式でパケットライトされたCDは、ディスクイメージを単なるファイルとして書き込んでいるのでブートできないうえ、XPのような古いOSでは規格そのものに対応していません。

万全を期すのであれば、ImgBurnのような外部ライティングソフトを使用することをお薦めします。

書き込み方法はダウンロードしたイメージを右クリックしてディスクイメージの書き込みから書き込みました。
焼き終わったCDのプロパティを見るとCDFS形式でした。
焼いたPCと別のWindows8.1ので見ても読めるのですがインストールしたいと
考えているWindowsXPのPCでのみCDブート不能でXP上からも新品のディスクと
して読み込まれてしまう状況です。

外部のソフトの方が良いとの事ですが今夜試してみます。

ずっと、CD-Rを使用していましたが、CDーRの在庫がなくなり
DVD-Rに焼いてみたところ無事インストールが出来ました。
