linuxBean 画面左端が表示されず (2016-09-20 17:00 by thongrider #78765)

こちらのサイトから落としたlinuxBean12.04.5をCD-Rに焼き、日立Flora （Intel Pentium4 3.06GHz、1.49GBRAM、80GBHDD）にインストールしました。インストールの始めの頃から画面左端が1ｃｍ程度表示されず、インストール完了後、デスクトップが立ち上がっても画面左端が表示されないままです。従い、左端に縦に並んだ各種アイコン（パネル、って言うんでしたっけ？）が全く見えません。また右端に黒帯が走り、あたかも画面全体が左にシフトしているかの如くです。正しく表示する方法をご教示願います。

自己resです。「画面がずれて表示される」との表現でググったところ、次の回答を見つけ解決しました。
「モニター自体についているボタンの中に
「AUTO」とかの表示のものは無いですか？
あればそれを押してみてください。」
初歩的なことも知らず、失礼いたしました。
