埋め込みフォントで「トレードマーク」が表示されない？ (2013-05-20 16:50 by tek-nishi #68823)

初めまして。

OSXにて、Emacs→org-mode→PDFという書き出しの用途でLuaTeX-jaを使い始めた西山ともうします。
ですので、もし見当違いな質問でしたら申し訳ありません。

PDFにフォントを埋め込まない初期状態で lualatex test1.tex を実行して生成されたPDFファイルでは、「トレードマーク」が正しく表示されるのですが、
和文フォントを埋め込む設定で lualatex test1.tex を実行して生成されたPDFファイルでは、「トレードマーク」が表示されない
という現象に悩んでおります。

LuaTeXは、MacPortsの「TexLive2012」に含まれたものを使っております。

単純に IPAexMincho がトレードマーク (U+2122) のグリフを持っていないことが原因です．
埋め込んでいないときはヒラギノで代替されるために表示されるのではないでしょうか．
埋め込むフォントをヒラギノにするとどうでしょうか？

さっそくのご回答まことにありがとうございます。
なんと、グリフを持っていないのが原因だったのですね！

私はOSXのシステムフォントのヒラギノをPDFに埋め込む方法がわからないため、検証する事ができません。
参考にするサイトなど、ございますでしょうか？

にも書いてありますが，プリアンブルに

\usepackage[hiragino]{luatexja-preset}

と書くといかがでしょうか？
（私の環境にはヒラギノがないので検証できません．）

情報ありがとうございます。

さっそく試してみましたが、MacPortsのTexLive2012にはluatexja-presetが同梱されておりませんでした。
※探してみたのですが TexLive2013を見つけられませんでした。

試しに「\setmainjfont{HiraKakuPro-W3}」などと指定してみると、こんどは一切日本語が表示されない状態になってしまいました。

確かに2012だとアップデートが必要だったかもしれないです．

\setmainjfont{Hiragino Mincho Pro W3} や \setmainjfont{HiraMinPro-W3.otf} だとどうなるでしょうか？
それでもだめな場合，結果の PDF とログ (test2.log) をアップロードすることはできますでしょうか？
