Migu 1Mの不具合について (2011-09-06 20:00 by Anonymous #59482)

Migu 1Mを使わせていただいております。非常に読みやすく気に入っております。ありがとうございます。

一点、Migu-1M-20110825にて不具合らしきものを見つけましたので報告させていただきます。
不具合：「亀」の字の幅が半分として扱われるようで、次の文字が重なって表示されます。
再現方法：
メモ帳のフォントをMigu 1Mに変更した状態で「亀田」と入力しますと、田の字が半分亀の字と重なって表示されます。
なお、不具合は標準体のみで、ボールド体だと問題は発生しません。

Please also check 0u00C5 and 0u00EE. They seem to be too wide in regular weight.

Migu-1M-20110825 にて
亀 U+4E80
の幅は本来1000のはずが500になっている。
Å U+00C5
î U+00EE
の幅は本来500のはずが1000になっている不具合を確認しました。
原因はこれから追求します。

修正はしばらくお待ちください。

20111002版で修正しました。

技術メモ
調べたところ、幅がおかしくなるのは合成元のM+フォントをビルドした段階。
20110825版のMigu 1Mだけでなく、MigMixでも起きていた。
幅のおかしい文字はビルドするたびに別の文字に変わる。
本家M+フォントの文字幅も調べたが、こちらはおかしくなっていない。
ここから考えると、問題あるのはソースではなく
使用しているFontForgeのバージョンによるのでは？と思い、
本家と同じバージョン FontForge20110222 で試すと格段に文字幅がおかしくなる割合がへった。
合成元フォントをsfdで運用しているのがまずいのかもしれない。ttfにしたほうがよいかも。
20111002版では簡易チェックツールをかけて正常であることを確認した。
