フォントが表示されない (2009-10-05 10:25 by nu-ne- #46230)

win環境です。
ver.025あたりからM+1cのフォントが表示されなくなりました。
ただし、イラストレータ、フォトショップ上です。
エクセルなどでは表示されます。
1m、1pなど、その他の物はオッケーです。
7ウェイトフォントがダメなようです。
解決策はあるでしょうか？

身の回りに Windows 環境が無く、これまでもほとんど操作したことが無いので解決策とはなり得ないかもしれません。
特定のプログラム上での不具合ということで、フォントのインストールは正常に行われていると仮定しますと、あやふやな「相性」の問題となるのでしょうか。
多ウエイトフォントでの不具合があるようなので、M+ C Type-1 の必要最小限ウエイトのみをインストールしてみてはいかがでしょうか。

同じような状況です。

WindowsXPでM＋フォントをインストールしましたが、Illustrator10で表示されません。入力しても空白のようになってしまいます。
Excelでは使用できました。

1c、1m、1mn、ip、2c、2m、2pどれも表示できません。
上のアドバイスにあるようにM+1c regularのみをインストールもしてみましたがだめでした。

どうすればいいでしょうか。

こちらでは環境を再現することができず不具合の検証ができません、
申し訳ないです。

M+ ファミリ内のただ一つのフォントのみをインストールしても、
まったく文字が表示されない現象があるということは重大なのですが。

Excel では表示されるとの事ですので、
Illustrator10 の事例として調べた方が良いのかもしれませんね。

製作御苦労さまです。
更新されるたびにインストールに挑戦していますが、
やはりイラストレータ10ではフォントが表示されません。
TESTFLIGHT　027までは1mが使えていたんですが。
XP上なんですが、
メイリオが同じような症状で、
原因はJIS2004基準になったからだと言われています。
M+ではここらあたりの仕様はどうなんでしょうか？
予備知識が乏しいので、
的外れかもしれませんが、
何とかこの素晴らしいフォントを使用したいと思いますので、
検証をお願い致します。

こちらでは Windows 環境が無いため検証できないのですが、
MigMix の itouhiro さんは Windows XP SP3 / Adobe Illustrator CS4
の環境で色々と検証されています。

itouhiroです。Windows版Illustrator 10 で確認してみました。

まず、Adobe発の情報です。
Illustrator 10 ユニコードに対応していません。

Illustrator 10 は JIS2004 基準のフォントに対応していません。

私のほうで、より詳しく調べたところ
Illustrator 10 で文字を表示できないフォントの条件は以下のようです。
・Basic Multilingual Plane(BMP)の範囲を超えた文字を持つ

現在のM+フォントは「Basic Multilingual Plane(BMP)の範囲を超えた文字を持っている」
ので使用するのはそのままではムリです。

現在のM+フォントを使用するには：
1) IllustratorのバージョンをCS以降にアップグレードする。またはバージョンを8に下げる(8だとなぜか使える)。
2) M+フォントを編集して、Basic Multilingual Plane(BMP)の範囲を超えないようにする。


2の方法について簡単に説明します。
- M+フォント(TrueTypeフォントファイル)をFontForgeで読み込む。
- [エンコーディング＞エンコーディング変換＞ISO-10641-1(Unicode, BMP)]
- 0x10000 とそれ以降の字形をすべて選択して[編集＞クリア]
- [ファイル＞フォントを出力＞TrueType]

こちらの画像を参考にしてください。

これで文字が表示できるようになることを確認しました。
確認環境
- Windows XP
- Illustrator 10
- FontForge 20090923 (fontforge-mingw_2009_10_28)
- M+ 1P Regular version1.037

と言いたいところですが、
やり始めてみたものの、
ものの数十分でリタイヤです。
fontforgeがインストールできてるのかどうかさえ分かんない(汗)
検証済みのフォントを公開していただくことはできないものでしょうか？

に処理済フォントを置いたので試してみてください。

あと、さきほどの#58457の手順に書いた
『0x10000 とそれ以降の字形をすべて選択して[編集＞クリア]』
は あまりよくない方法でした。

WinXP、Illustrator 9.0でまったく同じ問題でしたが、こちらのおかげで解決しました。
ありがとうございます！

確認なのですが、こちらの処理済フォントのライセンスも、「改変後も制限なし」とあるように、商業目的で使わせてもらっていいんですよね。
詳しく言うと、自費出版冊子の本文です。

シンプルながら、丸みや半濁点が可愛いのでとても気に入っています。
