I suggest to add italic and italic bold for European letters (2015-10-24 11:44 by gusbemacbe #77066)

Hello,

As a graphic designer, I love these fonts. These fonts seems to be better than Hiragino Kaku Pro.

But I suggest you create italic and italic bold fonts for European letters (Latin, Cyrillic and Greek). No need to italicise the Japanese and Chinese ideograms.

Thank you for your attention and understanding!

Gustavo

Hi Gustavo,

I'm glad your message and suggestions.
But, there are still more than 1000 Kanji characters I plan to work.
When that work is finished, I will consider your suggestions.

Thanks.

No problems! 問題なし!

When you finish the 1k kanjis and the italic European characters, I also suggest you develop the math fonts.

I suggest you to take the open source math font «Asana Math»:

Hi,
I use combination of East-European Latin and Japanese characters in print as well as on web on regular basis, and would love to be able to use the M+ fonts. Unfortunately the lack of italics and bold italics pretty much disqualifies it from regular use as body text, so I too would be forever grateful if you managed to find the time to add those at some point, once you're finished with higher priorities.
