メールチェッカーでの動作 (2006-02-28 09:52 by Anonymous #20238)

OE6.0では正常に振り分けできるのですが、nPOPというメールチェッカーでは、受信はできても振り分けがうまくいきません。
メールチェッカーでは動作しないのでしょうか。

これだけではあとからこのスレッドを見た方にはなんの
情報もないという状態になってしまいますので補足しますと、

http://popfile.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?JP_HowTos/Toptoo
にあるように、toptoo オプションを有効にすることに
よって、いわゆるメールチェッカを使用している場合でも
メールの分類ができるようになります。

暫くの間toptooオプションを有効にして使用していました。しかし、toptooオプションを有効にして使用した場合、１回チェックする毎に新着メールがなくとも［履歴］に最新の１件が書き出される仕様のようで、［履歴］が膨大に溜まることが難点でした。（私の場合、5分間隔で3つのアカウントをチェックさせていたので、1時間に36件ずつ増えていく）また、同じメールばかりチェックの対象となるため、分類精度も正確なものとは言えない状態でした。

ところが、nPOP側の「新着受信時に本文をすべて受信する」 というオプションを有効にすると、nPOPはRETRを使用するため、POPFileのtoptooオプションは無効のままでチェックができるようになりました。

これで前述した問題も解消できています。また、心なしか、安定したような気もします。
