受信メール(POP3)の値が最初から127.0.0.1になっていてアカウント名の設定ができません．どうすればいいですか？

お使いの OS や POPFile のバージョンを教えてください。
また、お使いのウィルス対策ソフトも教えてください。

おそらくウィルス対策ソフトを利用されているの
でしょう。

を参考に設定を行ってみてください。
（各ソフトに対応した設定方法が書かれています）

使っているソフトがリストにない場合は、
http://popfile.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?JP_HowTos/Proxy_Chaining
を参考に併用する方法をお試しください。

ウィルス対策ソフト:AVG anti-virus free edition

こちらが参考になるのではないでしょうか。
英語ですが設定方法は書かれています。

簡単に書きますと、
・POPFile の POP3 ポート番号を「123」に設定して
　POPFile を再起動する
・メールクライアントの POP3 接続に使用するポートを
　「123」に設定する
・メールクライアントの「アカウント（ユーザ名）」を
　通常通り変更する

以上で使用できるのではないでしょうか。

どのように設定したらうまくいったのかを書いておいて

出来たと思って学習させているのですが現時点ではまだ機能していません．学習が足りないのか設定が不完全なのか．．．もう少し試行錯誤してからご報告致します．

突然作動するようになりました．
理由はよく判りません．
紹介頂いたサイトを丹念に読みましたが設定は当初から適正になされていました．
学習のさせ方に問題があったのでしょうか？

前回「機能していません」と書いていただいたことや、
今回「作動するようになりました」と書いていただいたことの
意味するところがわかりませんのでなんとも言えませんが、
とりあえずはうまく動くようになったようでよかったです。

「機能しません」と言っても、POPFile 自体が起動しない
とか、起動はするがメールクライアントからつながらない
とか、起動してメールも読むことができるが分類されない
とかいろいろ可能性があり、これだけの情報では
なんとも判断できません。

「機能しない」とか「作動しない」とかいう表現では
なく、具体的にどういう症状なのかを書いていただきますと
解決が早いのではないかと思います。
