Outclassが動作しなくなった (2006-12-18 10:39 by Anonymous #26641)

POPFileとOutclassをインストールして数ヶ月使っています。
数日出張で使っていなかったのですが、Outlookを起動すると、CPUは
かなり使っている様子なのですが、振分けを全くしなくなりました。
また、「Mark as Spam」のボタンを押しても、当のメールはSpam用の
フォルダへ移動しません。

最近行ったPCの変更といえば、先週のマイクロソフトのセキュリティ
情報に従ってWindows Updateを実施したくらいです。Exchangeサーバー
については、ちょっと分かりません。

何か情報があればお願います。

Office2003
Exchangeサーバーのバージョンは不明

Outclass は使用していないのでわかりませんが、
思いつくのはデータをバックアップしてから Outclass を
再インストールしてみるくらいでしょうか。
また、POPFile のプロセス（popfile*.exe）と、Outclass の
プロセス（wperl.exe？）がちゃんと動いているかどうかも
確認するとよいかもしれません。

Windows XP Pro XP2、Outlook 2002 SP3 の環境に試しに
インストールしてみましたが、ちゃんと動いているよう
です。12 月のパッチの適用は KB929120 を除いてすべて
適用した環境ですので、パッチとは関係ないように思います。

情報、有り難う御座います。

何度かOutlookを再起動してみました。
wperl.exeはいますが、popfile*.exeはいません。
Outclassを使う場合もpopfile*.exeは起動されるのでしょうか？

すみません。
POPFile が普通に稼動している環境に Outclass を
インストールしたので popfile*.exe も同時にある
という状態になっていたのですが、Outclass 単体で
使用している場合には wperl.exe だけがあるという
ことなんですね。

POPFile を停止してから Outlook を起動した場合は
wperl.exe だけがあらわれましたので、wperl.exe が
起動していれば Outclass は動作しているのだと思い
ます。

昨日昼、Outclassだけ再インストールしました。

「Mark as Spam」のボタンは動くようになったのですが、昨日から
何度もきている同じようなメール、その他自動での振り分けが
全く行われない状況です。

一つ申告し忘れていたのですが、出張先で別PCでメールを読んで
いました。（関係あるか分かりませんが）

すみません。ちょっとわからないです。
これ以上は Outclass の開発元に問い合わせするくらい
しか思いつきません。

の中に、

If you receive a lot of email when Outlook is closed, the next time you start up Outlook, it may fail to notify Outclass of any messages that were received while Outlook was closed.

という箇所があり、今回のケースと似ているような
気もします。もしこれなら、Settings タブの
「Classify Unread messages when Outlook starts」に
チェックを入れることで改善されるのかもしれません。

POPFileの新バージョンが出たので、再度Outclassをインストールしてみました。

Outclass1.2.4.1r.exe ..... 動作しない
Outclass1.3.0.0a-r.exe ..... ダメ

前回は、Outclass1.3.0.0a-rを使っていたのですが、このバージョンは
動作しなくなった時と同じで、振分けをしてくれません。
メールを一つ指定して「Mark as Spam」ボタンを押しても、SPAMフォルダへ
移動してくれません。
(0 message classifiedのポップアップは出る)

一方、古いほうのOutclass1.2.4.1rは、大体動作します。大体と言うのは、
Outlookを起動した時の未読メールの振分けはしてくれないのです。そのため、
毎朝Outlook起動後に未読メール（100個とか200個とか）を一括選択して
「Classify Now」ボタンを押す必要があります。それ以外の動作は問題
なさそうです。

古いバージョンでは動作するというのも変ですが、．．．

使用していないのでなんともいえませんが、書かれている
症状からすれば、前に書きましたSettings タブの
「Classify Unread messages when Outlook starts」を
チェックしてみるのがよいのではないかと思います。
