ジャストシステム：カラメルのフィルタの設定を教えてください。 (2005-06-06 01:24 by Anonymous #14555)

私はジャストシステムのカラメルという、メールソフトを使っているのですが、メールのフィルタの設定が分かりません。ファイルの仕分けはうまくいきます。けれど、スパムフィルタをしていないので、[spam]メールがたくさん送信されてきます。マニュアルで紹介された、元々のフィルタ機能がないと、popfileのフィルタの設定はできないのでしょうか？。

こんにちは。

まず、「元々のフィルタ機能がないと」の点ですが、
メールソフト自身のフィルタ機能は必要になります。

それで、カラメルというメールソフトが、
フィルタ機能を持つかどうかですが、このFAQを読む限り、
自分で(手動で)移動させるしかないみたいですね。

とはいえ、おつかいのカラメルのバージョンなどによると思いますので、フィルタ機能を持つかどうかは正式にはジャストシステムのサポートに聞いてみてください。

もちろん、POPFile に対応した(という言い方は変ですが)、メールソフトはたくさんあります。このあたりに設定例も一緒に載っていますのでよろしければ使ってみてください。

ちなみに私は、Windows ではBecky、MacではGyazmail と一緒に使っていますが、あまり設定はどちらも難しくないですよ。

spamメールをspamフォルダに手動で振り分けて、popfileにそのメールがspamであると認識させれば、そのメールはpopfileが認識する限り、表示されないと言うのが　手動でする　ということなのでしょうか？。
教えてくださいませんか？。

POPFile は、メールサーバとメールクライアント
（例えばカラメル）の間に入って、メールに分類結果
（例えば spam）の印を追加するという働きをします。
印は、メールのタイトルの最初に [spam] を追加する
というようなものです。

この印がついたメールをどのフォルダに振り分けるかは
メールクライアントで設定することになります。
もし、メールクライアントにそのような機能がないので
あれば、タイトルに [spam] がついたメールを手動で
別のフォルダ（あるいはゴミ箱）に移動することに
なります。

上に書きましたように、POPFile はメールに印をつける
だけですので、メールクライアント上でメールを別の
フォルダに移動させても、POPFile はそのことを知る
すべがありません。
このため、もし POPFile が分類を間違えた場合は、
POPFile のコントロールセンター（http://localhost:8080/）に
アクセスして、分類しなおす必要があります。

最初はちょっと面倒かもしれませんが、しばらくの間
正しい分類を教えてあげるだけでとても高い精度で
メールを分類してくれるようになりますよ。

わかりました。
始めにpopfileの方に[spam]バケツを作り、カラメルの方にも[spam]フォルダを作ります。それから、メール自動仕分け機能（メールの差出人、又は見出しを自分で設定して、それに応じてカラメルソフトの方が仕分けする機能）に、見出しでspamと登録して、カラメルの方から[spam]フォルダへ仕分けしてもらうと言う方法です。
