POPFileが勝手に終了してしまいます (2005-12-10 10:48 by Anonymous #18411)

自動起動はするのですが、しばらくすると勝手にPOPFileが終了してしまいます。
起動しているときは正常に動作しているようです。
メールチェッカー（メールの着信をお知らせするメールチェッカ）と併用しているのですが、これが原因でしょうか？
原因の調べ方をご教授願えませんか？

OS WINXP(SP2) POPFile022.3です。
よろしくお願いします。

原因究明の方法ですが、まず、
http://popfile.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?JP_TroubleShooting/PrepareLog
を参考に、ログを取得してみてください。

また、
http://popfile.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?JP_HowTos/CaptureErrors
の「コンソールにメッセージを表示させる」にあるように、
POPFile フォルダにある「msgcapture.exe」を使って POPFile を
起動させることにより、コンソールに出力されるエラーを調べる
ことができるのではないかと思います（POPFile を終了させてから
ご使用ください）。

メールチェッカとの併用については特に関係はないのではないかと
思いますが、もし気になるようでしたら、そのソフトを一時的に
使用停止してみることによってそれが原因かどうか調べることが
できるかもしれません。また、もし不都合でなければ、そのソフト
の名前を教えていただくことにより、こちらでも試してみることが
できるかも知れません。

ログ拝見しました。

見たところ、普通に起動させて、（タスクトレイの
アイコンから？）終了させたというだけのログのよう
ですが、これは「しばらくすると勝手にPOPFileが終了」
してしまったときのログなのでしょうか。
もしそうなら、説明不足で申し訳ないですが、しばらく
POPFile Message Capture Utility を使って POPFile を
動かしてみて、「勝手に終了」してしまったときに何が
記録されるかを確認してみてください。

書いていただいた LedBiff というソフトをダウンロード
し、しばらく使ってみていますが、特に問題はなさそう
な感じです（バージョンは書かれているものとは違う
0.10.20 というものですが）。
ニュース配信ソフトについては、メールとは関係なさ
そうなので検証していません。

この件と関係があるかどうかについてはなんとも
いえませんが、POPFile のタスクトレイのアイコンに
ついて既知の問題が存在しています。

タスクトレイアイコンを無効にすることによって
問題が解決されるかもしれません。
