RebornOS is a distribution based on Arch Linux
It starts as an Antergos bifurcation, offering more options during its installation, based on the Antergos cnchi installer, using the latter's repository, and one of its own.
Once the development of Antergos is finished, RebornOS becomes an independent distribution, no longer depending on the Antergos repository, but on its own repository (besides, of course, the Arch Linux repositories).
It currently offers a cnchi-based installer, which works without problems, while developing its own installer: Fenix.
New cnchi based installer: RebornOS-2019.12.09-x86_64.iso
This installer uses:
Linux Kernel : 5.4.2 Gnome Desktop: 3.34.2
When installing Grub, RebornOS was initially installed in "antergos_grub". Then, in other versions of the installer, he used "rebornos_grub", and now he does it in "RebornOS". Now, the live installer user is "rebornos" (previously it was "reborn"), and this user has no password. The administrator user of the installer does not have a password either. This means that when you want to use the terminal to perform operations that require the use of "sudo", you will not be asked for the password. This installer has several updates to try to improve its operation (There are still more things to review). If you have a RebornOS installation installed and updated, there is no reason to reinstall the system.
