Project Description

RebornOS is a distribution based on Arch Linux

It starts as an Antergos bifurcation, offering more options during its installation, based on the Antergos cnchi installer, using the latter's repository, and one of its own.

Once the development of Antergos is finished, RebornOS becomes an independent distribution, no longer depending on the Antergos repository, but on its own repository (besides, of course, the Arch Linux repositories).

It currently offers a cnchi-based installer, which works without problems, while developing its own installer: Fenix.

Release Notes

Script version 2.3 includes functions to install lxqt or xfce on your RPi4!

Version 2.0 now features a compressed image file along with a streamlined SD Card formatting process - this should prevent any unusual behaviors during installation.

Currently 2.0 only supports RPi4/RPi4b x86. There are plans to expand support to x64 in the future.

To install, download the script, open a terminal, navigate to the downloaded location of the script.

Issue the following command: sudo chmod +x <name of script>

Then issue: sudo ./<name of script>

Follow the prompts and the RPi system should install and expand to the full FS. Please report any issues on the Discord channel.

Note: Currently only RPi4/4b x86 are supported. The other options are for the future.
