The best way to add support for Samsung printers is to install the Samsung unified driver. Currently, in HP's possession, this driver is somewhat abandoned. The installation of this driver is easy. To do this, we will add the "arcanis" repository. We edit the file pacman.conf:
sudo nano /etc/pacman.conf
Add the following lines to the end:
[arcanisrepo] Server = https://repo.arcanis.me/repo/$arch
Save the file (with Ctrl+o) and exit (with Ctrl+x).
And this should do the trick.
To install the unified driver, from the terminal:
sudo pacman -S samsung-unified-driver
Automatically, the corresponding dependencies will be installed.
Ready to use.
